- Q:How do you remove the left headlight housing on Chevrolet Cobalt,HHR and Saturn ION? Posted by Customer
- A:To remove the headlight housing on a Cobalt, start by pulling out the bumper cover pushpin near the inner end of the headlight. Then, remove the two bolts retaining the headlight housing. Pull the headlight housing forward and disconnect the electrical connectors. For ION models, remove the two pins retaining the headlight housing and disconnect the electrical connectors. For HHR models, remove the front bumper cover and the bolts retaining the headlight housing. Lower the headlight housing until the locking tabs at the rear of the housing are free. Pull the headlight housing forward until the locking pins are all the way out and disconnect the electrical connectors to the bulbs. For all models, installation is the reverse of removal. Don't forget to adjust the headlights when you're done.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
