- A:Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the center floor console shifter trim plate. Remove the screws at the bottom of the A/C switch control panel. Use a plastic trim tool to pry the center trim panel/control assembly from its retaining clips. Disconnect the electrical connectors at the module. Remove the A/C switch control module retaining screws on the back of the panel. Note: The A/C switch control module and heating/air conditioning control module are integrated and are not serviceable separately.
