Lubricate the cylinder bore with clean brake fluid and insert the new rubber cups, making sure the lip faces in. Install the expander spring and remaining cup, attach the rubber boots to the pistons, and then install the pistons and boots. Finally, for installation, attach the brake line to the wheel cylinder before tightening the mounting bolts and line fitting. Use a flare-nut wrench if available. Bleed the brakes and thoroughly test their operation before driving the vehicle in traffic.
