Using copper tubing.

Every six months, the vehicle should be raised and placed securely on jack stands for the inspection of the flexible hoses that connect the steel brake lines with the front and rear brake assemblies. These hoses should be checked for cracks, chafing of the outer cover, leaks, blisters and other damage. A light and mechanics mirror may be needed for a thorough inspection. If a hose exhibits any defects, it should be replaced. To replace a hose, clean all dirt away from the ends, follow the path of the hose from the metal line to the brake caliper, and remove any brackets that may secure sections of the hose to other components. Disconnect the hose from the brake line and the caliper, discarding the sealing washers. Attach the new brake hose to the caliper or wheel cylinder using new sealing washers. Reattach the brake hose to the metal line, ensuring it is routed properly and isn't twisted. Install any other hose brackets, check the master cylinder fluid level, add fluid as necessary, bleed the brake system and test the brakes before placing the vehicle into normal operation. When replacing brake lines, use the correct parts and avoid using copper tubing. Prefabricated brake line is available at auto parts stores and dealer parts departments. These lines can be bent to the proper shapes using a tubing bender. After installation, check the master cylinder fluid level, add fluid as necessary, bleed the brake system and test the brakes thoroughly before placing the vehicle into normal operation.
