For installation, clean the gasket surfaces thoroughly, avoiding aggressive scraping that can damage sealing surfaces, and wipe them with safety solvent. Remove any debris from bolt holes using a tap and compressed air, position new gaskets on the manifold ensuring they snap into place, then carefully place the manifold and tighten the bolts to specified torque in the recommended sequence. Avoid overtightening. Finish by reversing the removal steps, starting the engine, and checking for vacuum leaks at the intake manifold joints.
