- Q:How do I remove the blower motor resistor, blower motor, and vacuum control unit for Chevrolet Corvette? Posted by Customer
- A:To remove the blower motor resistor, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. Then, remove the lower trim panel from under the glove box.Locate the blower motor resistor just behind the blower motor and disconnect the electrical connectors. Loosen the forward screws and remove the rear blower motor resistor screw to remove the resistor from the housing. For installation, simply reverse the removal steps. To remove the blower motor, begin by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal and removing the lower trim panel from under the glove box. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector and remove the mounting screws to take out the blower motor from the housing. Installation is the reverse of removal. For the vacuum control unit removal, start by disconnecting the vacuum line manifold from the control unit. Then, remove the vacuum control unit mounting screws and lower the control unit from the housing. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the control unit.
