- A:To remove the sway bar kit, first, raise the vehicle and secure it on jackstands, ensuring the parking brake is applied. Then, remove the nuts and bolts connecting the sway bar kit to the lower control arm, taking note of the position of the spacers, washers, and bushings. Next, remove the sway bar kit bracket bolts and detach the kit from the vehicle. Inspect the bushings on the brackets for any signs of damage or deterioration, and replace them if necessary. To install the sway bar kit, position the bushings on the kit with the sills facing the front of the vehicle. Push the brackets over the bushings and raise the kit up to the frame. Install the bracket bolts, but do not tighten them completely yet. Proceed to install the sway bar kit-to-lower control arm bolts, washers, spacers, and rubber bushings, ensuring they are tightened securely.
