- A:Detach the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the trim panel or instrument cluster bezel and detach the electrical connector. Remove the screws and lift the switch housing out of the trim panel or cluster bezel. Use a small screwdriver to release the clips and withdraw the switch from the opening.
