- A:To remove the hub/bearing assembly, start by loosening the driveaxle/hub nut and the wheel lug nuts. Then, raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the wheel and the hub nut. Next, remove the brake disc and the ABS wheel speed sensor. After that, remove the three hub/bearing assembly mounting bolts from the inner side of the steering knuckle. Finally, remove the hub/bearing assembly from the steering knuckle and the end of the driveaxle, taking note of the orientation of the spacer. To install the hub/bearing assembly, reverse the removal steps, ensuring that the spacer is installed in its original manner. Lower the vehicle and tighten the lug nuts to the proper torque specifications. Lastly, tighten the driveaxle/hub nut to the proper torque specifications.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
