To remove the front control assembly, start by removing the instrument panel center bezel. Then, disconnect the electrical connectors from the rear of the A/C switch. Next, remove the four mounting screws at the back of the trim to separate the assembly from the bezel. For installation, simply reverse the removal steps. However, if the A/C switch has been replaced with a new component, it will need to be programmed by a dealer or qualified repair facility. To remove the rear auxiliary control assembly, open the center console armrest and remove the five screws attaching the hinge to the center console. Then, remove the mounting screws and the center console armrest storage compartment. After that, remove the screws from the top and bottom of the rear auxiliary control bezel and disconnect the electrical connector from the control assembly. Remove the bezel from the center console and then remove the screws securing the rear auxiliary control assembly to the bezel. Installation is the reverse of removal for this as well.
