A:
Remove the fuel pump/fuel level sensor and place it on a clean workbench surface. Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector from the fuel pump mounting flange. Disengage the fuel level sensor wiring harness from the molded-in harness guide. Remove the fuel level sensor from the fuel pump module. No further disassembly of the fuel pump module is possible. If any component of the fuel pump module is defective, replace the fuel pump module. To install the fuel level sensor on the fuel pump module, slide the sensor unit into place until you hear a click, then pull on the sensor unit to verify that it's locked into place. Installation is otherwise the reverse of removal.
