    How to replace the 4WD Actuator from the axle tube on Chevrolet Tahoe? Posted by Niels M.
    A:
    To remove the 4WD actuator from the axle tube, first raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. If equipped, remove the differential carrier splash shield. Then, disconnect the electrical connector from the 4WD actuator and unscrew the actuator from the axle tube. Before installing the actuator, coat the threads with RTV sealant and tighten it securely.
