    Q:
How to replace interior light bulbs,Fog Light Bulb and Instrument Panel Light Bulb on Chevrolet Equinox? Posted by Customer
    A:
Exterior light bulbs are made up of the following; front turn signal/parking light bulbs, fog light bulbs, center high-mounted stop light, rear brake/tail, turn signal, brake and back-up light bulbs, license plate light bulbs. Interior light bulbs include reading light bulbs, cargo and dome light bulb, and instrument cluster light bulbs. To replace these bulbs follow the steps below. For front turn signal/parking light bulbs remove headlight housing then turn the bulb holder counterclockwise then pull the bulb out straight from its holder then reverse installation by reversing the steps above. In case of any difficulty while replacing a fog lamp bulb, jack stand should be used to raise the front end of the vehicle so as to easily access backside of fender liner. Fender inner liner or splash shield also needs to be removed in order to get access to fog lamp electrical connector. After that counterclockwise rotate it until you can remove it then attach new one and use reverse procedure for remounting all other parts. While replacing center high mounted stop lamp you will need to take upper interior trim panel away from liftgate hence giving space for spoiler mounting screws removal before disconnecting electrical connector prior installing new unit using this same process in reverse order. For rear brake/tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, and backup lamps-open liftgate window first then get upward vision at both screws that hold taillight housing on place before pulling entire assembly outwards followed by turning bulb holder against clockwise direction so as to take off lighting source from socket itself before returning everything back as it was originally organized. Open liftgate and take out two screws holding license plate lens cover until you manage pulling off a little glass with your fingers followed by reversing these steps for installation purposes only if needed (as per user manual). To replace interior lights like reading lamp one should remove its lens which is normally located at front or centre area, then pull out a light bulb thus reversing above described steps. Other types of interior lighting devices such as cargo or dome lights can be repaired by unplugging both leads (they are often located on either side of fixture) after unscrewing lens from each one to get access its socket before returning everything accordingly. Instrument cluster lights need the user to remove the entire instrument cluster in order to reach the bulb socket where they can make small movements using a tiny screwdriver so that it comes off from there and reverse procedure will cover this gap between old installation removed during both disassembly stages.

    Q:
How to replace Fog Light Bulb and other bulb on Chevrolet Impala? Posted by Customer
    A:
Turn the screw counterclockwise, then remove the entire headlight housing. Next, turn the bulb holder like a clock and pull it straight out. To replace the front side marker light, gently push the old bulb out straight and put a new bulb in by pushing until it locks. Reversing these steps, take the old bulb back out straight. For the front park and turn signal bulbs, follow the same steps: Pull out the lights' housing cover, turn the bulb holder left, grab it, swap the bulb, and put it back in place. Take off the headlight cover, unscrew the fog light bulb holder by turning it to the left, pull off the electrical plug, and install the new bulb holder. To install the new rear light assembly, start by opening the trunk. Then take off the carpeting, unscrew the housing mounting screws, disconnect the electrical wire, and put everything back together again. From below or after removing the license plate, turn the bulb holder counterclockwise to take it out, switch the bulb, and put everything back. To change taillight bulbs, lift the trunk, pick out the carpeting retainer, take off the taillight housing with its plastic nuts, unplug the electrical cord, then follow the bulb installation steps. Inside, remove the dome light cover, change the old bulb, then push the new bulb up until it settled firmly. Start by taking off the lens over the reading light bulb, then delete the current bulb by pulling it out. Finish the job by inserting a new bulb and pushing it into the bulb holder. You can reach the instrument panel courtesy light bulb by pulling it straight out from under the glove box.

    Q:
How to replace the Fog Light Bulb on Pontiac G6? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the front parking/turn signal bulbs one has to first remove the head-light housing and the dust shield off the bulb. Twist the bulb holder anti-clockwise and pull it to unseat the bulb then remove the electrical connector. For center high-mounted brake light on sedan models, it is necessary to remove all the trim if any in the trunk lid, then unlite the electrical connector and for early models, two mounting nuts should be removed to pull out the light. The latest models call for the elimination of the plastic casing to get to individual bulbs. More specifically, in coupe models you will have to pop open the package tray on the inner trunk lid and cut through some foam on the inner part of the gille speakers, you will then have to take out the rear retainers behind and angle the brake light forward so as to be removed easily. For license plate light bulbs, unscrew the screws on the housing and flip the light forward and downward to pull it out and to take the light socket counter clockwise. For taillight, back-up light, brake light, and turn-signal bulbs, one has to unclip the side inner trunk trim panel, remove the mounting nuts, pull the taillight to the rear or side, disconnect the electrical connector, and one has to ensure that the locating pin fits correctly during the assembly. The taillight housing has to be laid on a clean surface to replace the bulbs and this is done by unscrewing the bulb holders anti-clockwise. For fog lights, safely lift the car, pry off the inner fender liner; unplug the wiring, while in early models you need to unscrew the fog light to pull it out from its mount. In later variants, unplug the electrical connection and twist the latches of the bulb assembly to install a new bulb. To replace interior lights, remove the dome light or map reading light lens, pull out bulb from the retaining wire and replace the bulb in the reverse of the described process.

    Q:
How to replace Fog Light Bulb and other bulb on Chevrolet Monte Carlo? Posted by Customer
    A:
For the front side marker lights on a Chevrolet Monte Carlo, start by unlocking the headlight housing, then flip the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove it. Pull out the old bulb, insert a new one if it stops with a click. When changing the front park and turn signal bulbs, do it in the same way you replaced the side marker lights. To reach the fog lights, take out the headlight cover, spin the fog light bulb attachment to the left, disconnect the electrical wire, and replace the whole bulb holder. To replace the center high-mounted brake light, open the trunk compartment, remove mounting bracket screws and housing fasteners, disconnect the electrical connection, and install everything backwards to complete the process. To fix license plate lights, look underneath or take off the plate; turn the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove it, replace the old bulb with a new one, and put the holder back correctly. When you need to swap out your taillight bulbs, first open the trunk. Yank out the carpeting retainer, and you'll find plastic wing nuts keeping the taillight housing in place-pop those out. Detach the electrical connector, then follow the regular bulb replacement procedure. Open the rear bumper cover, remove the screws, take out the housing, rotate the bulb holder left to remove it, install a new bulb. Inside your car, lift off part of the lamp lens, replace the burned light bulb by pulling it out, and plug the new one in until it clicks. For reading light bulbs, open the lens carefully, remove the old bulb with care, and slide in the new one, then watch the lens lock back into position. You can change the glove box-lit instrument panel light by pulling the bulb out from under the glove box.

    Q:
How to access and replace the Fog Light Bulb and other related bulbs on Pontiac Vibe? Posted by Customer
    A:
The park/turn signal lights and side marker lights are integrated into the headlight housing, with access to the bulbs available from behind, though it may be challenging. For left-side bulbs, removing the battery may help. To replace a bulb, rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise and pull it out, then remove the bulb from the holder. In some models, the side marker light is a separate unit located in the front fender, requiring access from underneath after partially removing the inner fender splash shield. The process for installation follows the reverse order of removal. The taillight, brake, turn signal, and side marker bulbs can be accessed by removing panels in the cargo area; similarly, rotate the bulb holders counterclockwise to remove the bulbs, with installation reversing the removal steps. For the center high-mounted stop light, open the liftgate, remove the pushpins securing the bottom cover, take out the screws, lower the bulb housing, twist the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove it, and pull the bulb straight out. The installation follows the reverse order. The front overhead interior light can be removed as an assembly using a pry tool, with the bulb pulling straight out from between the terminals, and installation is the reverse. For the license plate light, use a plastic trim tool or taped screwdriver to remove the access cover on the liftgate's interior side, then remove the bulb holders and replace the bulbs, with installation reversing the removal. To replace the fog light, raise the vehicle and secure it on jackstands, remove the lower engine splash shield, twist the bulb holder from the housing, and replace the bulb, with installation following the reverse order.
