- Q:How do you remove the TP sensor? Posted by Customer
- A:To remove the TP sensor, start by turning the ignition key to OFF. Then, disconnect the TP sensor electrical connector and remove the sensor by taking out the mounting screws. After that, discard the old TP sensor O-ring and replace it with a new one before installing the sensor. When installing the TP sensor, ensure that the flats on the throttle plate shaft align with the flats inside the TP sensor. Before securing the TP sensor with mounting screws, apply a thread-locking compound to the screw threads.
