A: To remove the turbocharger, disconnect the battery's negative cable. Drain the radiator coolant and detach the intercooler from the intake manifold duct. Remove the air cleaner assembly, turbocharger ducts, and heat covers. Disconnect the oxygen sensor and its electrical connector. At the turbocharger, unhook coolant, oil supply, and vacuum lines. Remove the wastegate actuator and detach the actuator arm. Place the cruise control servo aside. Disconnect the downpipe, coolant hose, oil drain hose, and the bolt linking the turbocharger to the exhaust crossover.
