Loosen the wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands, then remove the wheel and splash shield. Remove the front wheel speed sensor. Remove the stabilizer link from the
Control Arm. Remove the brake caliper without disconnecting the hose, along with the caliper mounting bracket and the brake disc. Disconnect the brake hose from the strut and hang the caliper from the coil spring with a piece of wire, ensuring it does not hang by the brake hose. For 2007 or earlier models, disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector and free the harness from any retaining clips; for 2008 or later models, remove the wheel speed sensor from the steering knuckle. Separate the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle arm and the lower control arm balljoint from the steering knuckle. Also, separate the upper control arm balljoint from the steering knuckle and remove the knuckle and hub assembly. Guide the knuckle and hub assembly into position, connect the balljoints to the knuckle, and tighten the nuts to the specified torque. Attach the tie-rod end to the steering knuckle arm and the stabilizer link to the control arm, tightening the nuts to the specified torque. Place the brake disc on the hub, install the disc-locating screw, and install the caliper. Finally, install the wheel and lug nuts, lower the vehicle, and tighten the lug nuts to the specified torque, then have the front-end alignment checked and adjusted if necessary.
