Use needle-nose pliers to carefully remove the A/C orifice tube, applying heat if necessary. Before reinstalling, ensure that the screens are not plugged or damaged, the plastic housing is intact, and the brass orifice is unrestricted. When installing the new A/C orifice tube, insert it with the shorter end first towards the evaporator, and use a new O-ring lubricated with the proper refrigerant oil.
