- Q: How to remove a Clutch Disc,Pressure Plate and Release Bearing on Chevrolet C1500?A:The removal process occurs by removing the transmission, leaving the engine in place to allow access to the clutch components; meanwhile, it is important to have an engine hoist or jack and a piece of wood under it before lowering down the motor to avoid crushing the oil pump pick up through the oil pan.
