- Q: How to remove the Engine Oil Cooler on Chevrolet Cruze?A:The first step to take out the 1.4L engine involves pulling off the cable in the negative battery terminal and emptying the cooling system. After that, lift up the vehicle and remove catalytic converter as well as air duct of air filter housing outlet. Disconnect turbocharger oil feed pipe, coolant return pipe and coolant inlet pipe. Separate oil cooler outlet hose from thermostat housing and oil pressure switch electrical connector is disconnected.
