How do I remove the front bumper cover and hood latch?

To remove the thermostat, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal and draining the cooling system. The thermostat housing assembly is located on the opposite end of the engine from the drivebelt, under the throttle body. Remove the oil filler cap and engine cover, then disconnect the intake air duct.
