The rear Sway Bar Kit is an optional component and may not be present on all vehicles. Begin by raising the vehicle and securely supporting it on jackstands. Next, remove the link bolt, nut, grommets, spacer, and retainers from each side of the Sway Bar Kit, taking note of their positions for easier reinstallation. Proceed to take off the insulator and bracket from each side of the Sway Bar Kit, again noting their positions. After that, remove the Sway Bar Kit itself. For installation, reverse the removal steps while applying multi-purpose grease to the insulator mounting points on the Sway Bar Kit before placing the insulators and brackets. Ensure that the slits in the insulators face the front of the vehicle and confirm that the Sway Bar Kit is centered in the brackets prior to tightening the mounting bolts. Finally, tighten all bolts to the specified torque.
