  A: To remove the brake caliper, start by loosening the wheel lug nuts and raising the vehicle on jackstands. Remove the wheels and then disconnect the brake hose from the caliper by removing the banjo fitting bolt. Remember to discard the sealing washers and plug the brake hose to prevent any contamination or fluid loss. Use hand tools to remove the upper guide pin bolt and securely hang the caliper out of the way if necessary. To remove the brake caliper bracket, remove the two bracket bolts and clean any remaining thread-locking material. For installation, use a high-temperature thread-lock on the brake caliper bracket bolts. Start by installing the caliper to the bracket, starting with the bolt closest to the bleed valve, and tighten the guide pin bolts to the proper torque specifications. Finally, bleed the brake system, check for any leaks, and test the brakes before returning the vehicle to normal service.
