Saturn Outlook Radiator

The Saturn Outlook Radiator serves as the first line of defense against the engine's overheating. The Saturn Outlook Radiator is constructed of thin aluminum tubes that allow hot coolant to flow through them, while airflow coming through the grille carries away the heat. At the front end of the crossover, the core combines closely spaced fins with tubes. This increases surface area and allows heat to escape quickly while the vehicle is in motion or when the electric fan kicks in. The coolant that enters the inlet tank flows across to the outlet tank and returns to the block much cooler. This loop keeps combustion temperatures at the sweet spot for power and efficiency. Most late-model Outlook versions feature a lightweight construction using an aluminum core with plastic side tanks that renders it corrosion-resistant. The earlier copper and brass type applied in early Saturn family models lacked this advantage. Both designs featured a Radiator with thin fins, but the copper units were heavier and costlier. The aluminum coolers shed weight and improve airflow through the nose. If the seals are failing or stray road debris has put a small crack in your Radiator, soldering or welding may repair the problem. However, a new Radiator will restore its full cooling capacity and protect your Outlook from warped heads or blown gaskets. Regular coolant flushes prevent scale from clogging the Radiator, thus allowing every Saturn to remain confident on long summer climbs.

Each OEM Saturn Outlook Radiator we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.

Saturn Outlook Radiator Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove a radiator on Saturn Outlook?
    A:
To remove the radiator, begin by draining the cooling system. Remove the engine cooling fan assembly and disconnect the radiator and coolant reservoir overflow hoses. Detach the air guides from the sides of the radiator and remove the air filter housing air inlet duct. Disconnect the transaxle fluid cooler lines from the radiator and, if necessary, remove the air filter housing for additional clearance. Pinch the fastening tabs at the top of the condenser to disconnect it from the radiator, then carefully lift the condenser and separate it from the radiator and remove the radiator.
