- Q: How to remove and install the ignition control module on Saturn Vue?A: Make sure that the ignition switch is Off. Remove the air intake duct and any interfering brackets, etc. Disconnect the wiring from the ignition control module by disconnecting the electrical connector and removing the mounting screws from the ignition control module. Remove the three mounting screws and pull the module straight up. To remove the interconnect, disconnect it from the module and plug it into the new module (four-cylinder models). Transfer the interconnect from the old module to the new one. Make sure that the square end of the interconnect is aligned properly and that the rubber seal is in good condition- if it's not, replace it. Installation is the reverse of removal.
