To remove the throttle body, start by disconnecting the Mass Air Flow (MAF)/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector and removing the intake duct and upper part of the air cleaner housing as a single unit. Then, disconnect the electrical connector from the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor and the PCV valve fresh air tube from the throttle body pipe. Detach the cruise control cable from the accelerator cable bracket and the transaxle breather hose, if equipped. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever and the electrical connector from the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve and Throttle Position (TP) sensor. Detach the fuel feed and return lines from the retainer on top of the accelerator cable bracket and remove the transaxle shift cable clip from the accelerator cable bracket. Finally, remove the three bolts securing the throttle body to the coolant crossover housing, discard the old throttle body gasket, and remove the accelerator cable bracket bolts before removing the cable bracket from the throttle body. To install, reverse the removal steps, ensuring to use a new throttle body gasket and tightening the throttle body mounting bolts to the specified torque.

Before removing the throttle body, you need to remove the transaxle shift cable clip from the accelerator cable bracket. Additionally, you should remove the three bolts securing the throttle body to the coolant crossover housing, discard the old throttle body gasket, and remove the accelerator cable bracket bolts before removing the cable bracket from the throttle body.
