Windshield wiper and blade assembly also require checking for damages such as those which may have pulled out some screws, and the condition of the blade as it may develop minor cracks or strains frequenting its composition. The dirt can accumulate on the wiper blades and compromise its performance and therefore, the wiper blades must be cleaned with a mild detergent. When the wiper blade elements are chipped, deteriorated, incorrectly shaped or do not clean sufficiently, they have to be exchanged for new ones. To remove the wiper blade, pull the arm assembly with an emphasis on the end to provide the necessary distance for the arm assembly from the glass, there will be a hook that you have to provide pressure on the release lever to stick out and you will be able to pull the wiper blade out of the hook in the arm. To remove the blade holder, one has to press on the release tab to unlock it and then pull the wiping blade towards the windshield as a way of freeing it from the wiper arm. Last but not the least, the new wiper needs to be secured to the arm of the vehicle and the attachment would be confirmed with a click sound.
