- A:To replace the rear brake hose, follow these steps: Disconnect the hose at the frame bracket using a back-up wrench. Remove the U-clip and separate the female fitting from the bracket. Disconnect the hydraulic lines at the junction block and remove the hose. Install the new hose in the frame bracket and connect the lines securely, using U-clips to retain them.
