- Q:How do you remove and install outside and inside mirrors on Chevrolet Traverse,Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia? Posted by Customer
- A:To remove the outside side view mirrors, start by removing the door trim panel and molding. Then, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the mirror fasteners. For installation, simply reverse the removal process. To remove the inside side view mirror, first remove the mirror cover fastener. If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector from the mirror. Then, remove the setscrew located at the base of the mirror stalk. Slide the mirror upwards to remove it from its mount. If the mounting plate has come off the windshield, you can use adhesive kits to resecure it. Follow the instructions included with the kit, making sure to position the flanged part of the mount away from the glass and the narrower part pointing up.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
