This can be done by unplugging the MAP sensor electrical connector, squeezing the retainer tabs and removing the retainer, then pulling the sensor straight up and out of the manifold. Next, squeeze the sensor retainer tabs inward, then pull up to remove it. Lift the sensor straight up to remove it. The installation process is simply the reverse of removal.

For the 2013 and later 3.6L MAP sensor, remove the engine cover and disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor located on top of the intake manifold. Then, remove the sensor mounting bolt and pull the sensor from the manifold. To install, reverse the removal steps and remember to use a new o-ring and tighten the hold-down bolt securely.
