In this case, to release bearing and cylinder, it is necessary to lift and support the vehicle, then to disconnect the line of clutch fluid pressure from the clutch master pipe. Next, you have to take out the transmission and the driveline support/driveshaft. For the models up to 2004, using a punch, knock out the roll pin that hold the hydraulic line to the clutch slave cylinder; for the 2005 models and onwards, just remove the retaining clip so that the line can be disconnected from the clutch slave cylinder. Subsequently, it is possible to take off the two clutch slave cylinder mounting bolts together with the clutch slave cylinder assembly. To dismantle the release bearing from the cylinder, it has to be rotated to the position, where it is free from the spring and if a new release bearing is put in place, no grease must be applied as it is pre-greased. For assembly, first, install clutch slave cylinder and mounting bolts, torque down the bolts to the following value: On the 2004 and earlier models roll pin the hydraulic line to the clutch slave cylinder, on the other hand, the 2005 and later models requires one to install the clutch fluid pressure line as well as the retaining clip. Replace the transmission back and reconnect the line of the clutch fluid pressure back to the clutch master cylinder pipe and you should hear a click. Finally inspect the level of clutch fluid and add brake fluid that is of DOT 3 grade until the required level is obtained then start on the process to bleed the system and recheck the level of the clutch fluid.
