Unbolt the sway bar bushing retainers and remove the retainer brackets from the body if needed.
  • Q: How do you remove the front stabilizer bar and stabilizer bar bushing?
    A: To remove the sway bar kit, start by loosening the front wheel lug nuts and raising the front of the vehicle on jack stands. Remove the front wheels and detach the catalytic converter from the exhaust manifold on 2007 through 2009 models. Disconnect the sway bar bushing links from the bar, making sure to hold the ball stud with a Torx or Allen wrench if it turns with the nut.
