On 2009 and earlier models, depress the locking tab at the top inner side of the sensor and slide it downward off the fuel pump module. On 2010 and later models, pry both locking tabs outward and slide the sensor up and off of the fuel pump module. To install the fuel level sensor, slide it into place on the fuel pump module until you hear a click, and then gently pull on the sensor unit to ensure it is locked into place.
