To remove the axleshaft, follow the steps below. First, pry out the old oil seal from the end of the axle casing using a large screwdriver or the inner end of the axleshaft itself as a lever. Next, apply high melting point grease to the oil seal recess and tap the seal into position so that the lips are facing inwards and the metal face is visible from the end of the axle housing. Ensure that the face of the oil seal is flush with the end of the axle casing. Finally, install the axleshaft according to the instructions provided.
