    Q:
How do you remove the Vapor Canister purge solenoid for the 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt? Posted by Shylah M.
    A:
To remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid, start by turning the ignition key off and locating the solenoid. On 2008 and later 2.0L turbocharged engines, it is located by the oil filler cap, while on other models, it is at the flywheel end of the cylinder head. Disconnect the solenoid's electrical connector and the inlet and outlet purge line fittings, capping the lines to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the EVAP system. Remove the mounting bracket bolt and separate the solenoid from its bracket. You can Select Your Vehicle to see complete installation and repair tips.

    A:
For the fuel tank pressure sensor, raise the vehicle and place it securely on jackstands. Remove the fuel tank and disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor. Use two screwdrivers to pry under the sensor and rock it out of the fuel pump module. You can Select Your Vehicle to see complete installation and repair tips.
