- A:Disconnect the negative battery cable. Unplug the forward wiring harness from the radiator fan motor and remove the harness from the radiator fan frame. Remove the bolts that secure the radiator fan frame to the radiator support and remove the radiator fan. To install, place the radiator fan in position, making sure the lower leg of the frame engages the mounting grommet in the radiator support. Install the radiator fan mounting bolts and torque to specs. Attach the forward lamp wiring harness to the radiator fan frame and plug the connector into the radiator fan.
