    How to remove and install the exterior Door Handle assembly on Oldsmobile Cutlass? Posted by Kirke E.
    A:
    Remove the inside door trim panel and pry back the water shield at the rear of the door. Raise the window to the full up position. From inside the door, remove the attaching nuts to the exterior handle and take out the handle assembly from the outside. On some later models, it may be necessary to first remove the guide bracket for access to the handle nuts, which is secured with four screws on the door skin. When installing, ensure the handle gasket is in good condition to prevent water leaks, and follow the reverse order of removal for installation.
